I’ve wrestled with this "shifting sands" for a while, but I’ve come to embrace it—much like Heraclitus’ idea that “No man ever steps in the same river twice.” Just as the river flows and changes, so too does my artistic journey. - Rodolfo Canete (Dunealogy)
My focus isn’t about creating a perfect piece; it’s all about the process and the transformations that come with it. I’ve learned that change is essential—whether it’s exploring new directions or letting go of something that no longer resonates with me. Each moment in my creative practice is unique; I’m constantly evaluating and evolving, much like nature itself.
Art, to me, is a reflection of this dynamic world. It’s not about the individual artworks but the overarching narrative of growth. I want to feel the flux in my pieces, to sense the journey of change that inspired them. So, while my artistic directions may vary, they all speak to the beauty of impermanence and the endless possibilities that arise when we embrace change. Let’s celebrate this ever-shifting river together!
